Cypress drops 63 points in victory over San Juan Hills

I think they're still scoring over there at Handel Stadium.

Cypress and San Juan Hills combined to score 100 points Friday night, as the Centurions defeated the Stallions 63-37.

This was the second time Cypress scored 63 points this season. They shut out Glenn of Norwalk 63-0 on September 24th.

However Michael Cobleigh, the defensive minded head coach of Cypress, believes his team will have to perform better in the second round, especially if it's La Habra.

"We didn't play a whole lot of defense. There was 100 points in the game tonight and being from a defensive background, that's not something you enjoy.

Cypress plays the winner of La Habra and El Dorado next Friday.
