Mater Dei dominates undefeated Santiago of Corona


Mater Dei dominated previously unbeaten Santiago of Corona 71-32 in the Division I-AA semifinals.

The Monarchs got off to a hot start, hitting six 3-pointers in the first quarter. Nirra Fields continued her torrid play, lighting up the Sharks for 27 points.

The Oilers were no match for El Toro’s high powered attack, which was led by Cody White’s 24 points. Liam Skelly knocked down four 3-pointers as the Chargers rolled to a 76-48 victory.
