#1 JSerra strikes late to defeat Aliso Niguel
The number one team in the county JSerra was scoreless going into the half. Aliso Niguel had thwarted the Lions strikes on goal by packing most of their defenders in the box. The strategy seemed to be working until the second half.
JSerra's Alex Wasilewski bicycle kicked his 8th goal of the season in the 62nd minute. That goal was followed by Dylan Seedman's breakaway score ten minutes later.
Aliso Niguel's only goal came by Christopher Wehan with five minutes left in the game. It wasn't enough, as the Lions went on to defeat the Wolverines 2-1.
JSerra advances to the second round and will play at Huntington Beach on Tuesday.
