First of all, outstanding coverage ! You have really come a long way Jonathan.Very professional. As far as Artest is concerned , i am not sure about this guy. He still seems to be emotionally unstable and Phil might be too old and tired to deal with him. I just can't see him getting along with Kobe. Lets wait and see!

Great job Jonathan. I love the Artest pick up, Im a big fan of his and wanted him on the Lakers for a long time. Lets hope that he understands that this is Kobe's team and that he stays out of trouble. His defense along with Kobe's is going to be one of the best front court duos in basketball today!

Thanks for the compliments gentleman! HB George, Phil has one more year left on his deal, so he can worry about being old and tired after the season is over! Especially if he decides to retire. As far as his relationship with Kobe goes, well Artest has called Kobe his "idol." He's always looked up to him, but now that he's on his side, he'll be in his face more often!

Jamilio, I'm real excited about the defense too. Especially if they get Lamar Odom. Imagine a defensive lineup of Shannon Brown, Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest, Lamar Odom, and Andrew Bynum. Watch out NBA!

Mann I love it covering the newest member of the Lakers. Doing big things Jonathan. LOVE IT!!!! Anyways... I dont think Ron and Kobe will have any problems. If Artest is coming here then he should already understand that this is and always will be Kobes team. I am just concerned about his behavior. He's a great player he will bring even more defensive toughness to this team. Thus another Championship and Ron Artests New Championship Rap song.

Very nice report Jonathan. I want more face shots of you. And more of Hannah Storm.

Ron might be a great addition, but there's no way he can replicate the way Ariza played in the playoffs last year. Ariza played out of his mind on both ends and not even Ariza could have probably replicated that performance again this coming season. The Lakers will need to get much better play from their guards this year. Derek Fisher is probably the worst starting PG in the NBA, so Phil needs to sit the old dog and play Brown and Farmar more. And more of Farmar and Brown and less of Sasha Clankavijic

Not to deviate from the way other comments begin Jonathan I want to say great job. You've covered several big sports stories but this one really hits at the core of LA. The addition of Artest can only strengthen our defense and add a little more fight in a team that two years ago seemed to be bullied around by bigger stronger clubs. I like the coverage and hope to continue seeing you around these events. Go Lakers, and of course, Go Jonathan Khamis.

Woooooow! Great coverage, absolutely great stuff. First off, Ron Artest is going to lay the smackdown on all the rest of the teams in the NBA. I love the fact that we finally have someone thats a huge physical presence, Artest last time I saw was the height as Lebron and wieghs just a couple pounds less than him. Great deal for the Lakers, Love LOVE LOVE Ariza but its his fault along with his jabroni agent that hes playing for a really bad Rockets team next year
