Edison in turmoil: Ineligible players shock Chargers

Edison has lost two starters in a one week span.

Senior running back Davion Orphey was deemed academically ineligible to play football. Days later, the CIF-SS notified Edison that their starting quarterback Chase Favreau couldn't suit up ether, because of a belief that his transfer from Mater Dei to Edison was athletically motivated.

Throughout all of this, the Chargers remain optimistic toward the start of the regular season.

Senior defensive end Charles Burks needs only 8 sacks for the all-time record at Edison, but the Chargers only return 3 starters from last year.

Can Edison survive their loss of players, and still remain competitive in the ultra-tough Sunset League? Check out the video below to find out.
