Lakers host homecoming for Farmar and Vujacic

Former Lakers Jordan Farmar and Sasha Vujacic played well, but it wasn’t enough. The Lakers defeated the Nets in a sluggish game, 100-88.

Farmar received a standing ovatation, as he finally collected his championship ring.

“The reception was great,” Farmar said. “The ring is beautiful…what it represents is special for me.”

Meanwhile Vujacic was booed at times.

“It was kind of funny, but it didn’t really matter,” Vujacic said. “Whenever they boo, it means I’m doing something good.”

Farmar finished with 12 points, while Vujacic finished with 17. They each had three assists.
