El Modena defeats Canyon in final at-bat
I covered my first El Modena vs. Canyon softball game, and it lived up to the hype. Coaches argued before the game, fans got into it, and the game ended up going to the final at-bat! Check out the video below.

Doheny of Newport celebrates Nike surf event
Andrew Doheny celebrates his first ever Nike 6.0 junior lowers pro victory. The Newport Beach resident takes home $2,500. Meanwhile, Gabe Kling took home the pro event winning $20,000.

Fullerton on top of Freeway League with victory over Sonora
The Indians defeat the Raiders 4-3. It was a total team effort with Michael Lorenzen and Simon Poti picking up RBIs. Sonora fought valiantly scoring 3 runs in the 5th and 6th combined, but it wasn't enough.
