Last-minute goal propels Servite to championship game
The Friars scored in stoppage time in the 2nd half to defeat Loyola of L.A. 1-0. Servite advances to the CIF Division I championship game. Interviews with Daniel Munoz, Keith Murphy, and Jon Spencer.
Rousey and Carmouche put on show at UFC 157
Liz Carmouche nearly submitted UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey early in the 1st round, but Rousey escaped and secured yet another armbar submission victory.
Ocean View drops thrilling semi at St. John Bosco
Ocean View nearly pulled off the upset, but the Sea Hawks came a little short in a 89-87 Division 3A loss to St. John Bosco. The Braves' Issac Hamilton had 43 points.
'Unfortunate error' gives way to Loyola win over Los Al
Los Al held a 1-0 halftime lead, but it wasn't enough Loyola of Los Angeles sparked a 2nd half comeback, advancing to the semifinals 2-1. Timothy Mehl sailed a ball past Griffins GK Connor Fatone who slipped.
Aliso Niguel shuts out Villa Park in quarterfinals
The Wolverines shut out their second straight playoff opponent in Villa Park, 1-0, advancing to the Division I semifinals. Sarah Wehan scored the game-winning goal.

The Lions' Ether Bustos scored the only goal of the game as JSerra held off Edison 1-0. JSerra advances to their 3rd quarterfinals in 4 years.

The Diablos waited one whole year before they could avenge last season’s loss to the Lancers in the CIF title game.

Canyon stifles Cypress
Lindsay Uyematsu led her Commanches to a 56-37 Division 1AA playoff victory. Uyematsu finished with 20 points, and Tyler Prange added 8 points and 8 rebounds.
Servite holds off late charge from Sonora
The Friars held off a late rally from the Raiders, defeating Sonora 44-40 in the 2nd round of the Div-3AAA playoffs. Louis Juego led Servite with 14 points.

Ocean View wins Golden West outright with win over Loara
The Seahawks exploded for 33 poins in the 2nd half on way to capturing the Golden West League championship outright in a 73-57 win over Loara.
Sonora avenges loss to Sunny Hills, wins Freeway
Sonora captured the Freeway League championship, defeating Sunny Hills 71-50. Both the Lancers and the Raiders came into the game, 8-1 in Freeway League play.

De La Salle cuts through Foothill
De La Salle held Foothill to only four points in the 2nd quarter on way to a 59-42 victory. Arizona commit Elliott Pitts scored 22 points.
Orange Lutheran rallies but falls short to Bishop Gorman in OT
O Lu committed 22 turnovers, yet rallied from an 18-point deficit to take a late 4th quarter lead. But it wasn't enough. Bishop Gorman, led by Rashad Muhammad's 24 points, finished the Lancers in OT 72-60.
