Angels continue to dominate Dodgers

The Halos comeback to defeat the Dodgers 6-3, on the heels of a strong pitching performance from Ervin Santana. After giving up three runs in the first four innings, Santana settled down to pitch yet another quality start.

Bobby Abreu jump started the comeback with a three-run homer to tie the game in the 6th. Howie Kendrick and Kevin Frandsen added some more runs in the 7th to cement the victory.

Boston's Ray Allen sets NBA Finals record defeating Lakers

The Boston Celtics even up the NBA Finals with the Lakers taking Game 2 103-94.

Ray Allen set an NBA Finals record with 8 three-pointers, including a stretch where he hit his first seven in a row. Rajon Rondo picked up a triple-double and made all the hustle plays down the stretch.

Mater Dei throws perfect game to win championship over Dana Hills

Monarch starter Cory Hahn and reliever Ty Moore combine to throw a perfect game. Mater Dei wins their first CIF championship since 2005, defeating Dana Hills 2-0.

Lakers beat up Celtics at own game

The first 30 seconds of play were an indication of just how the Lakers have changed from the '08 squad.

Ron Artest tangled with Paul Pierce, and took him down. Officials separated a mini-scrum by handing out technicals and fouls, but the precedent was set.

The Lakers went on to out-rebound the Celtics 42-31, and out-hustle them in second chance points 16-0.

Kobe needs championship over Boston to cement legacy

The jerseys that hang in Staples Center include Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. They have one thing in common. They have all defeated the Celtics.

Kobe Bryant is 0-1 against Boston in the NBA Finals. He receives his second chance to redeem what would've been the latest Lakers three-peat, as L.A. takes on Boston in a rematch of 2008. His Lakers legacy is on the line.
